ZUZU To Support Courteeners on Their Winter Tour

Liverpool musician ZUZU will be supporting the Courteeners as they perform in Nottingham next Monday. (19 Nov).

In the words of Liam Fray himself in the NME, about why they’ve picked ZUZU to join them on tour: "She’s very real. That’s a big thing for me, you can see through bullshit. I’m looking forward to seeing how she gets on in big arenas. She’s brimming with confidence, so I’m looking forward to see how she tames Courteeners’ fans.”

ZUZU is the definition of a millennial artist; a visibly confident front person, songwriter, producer, director, actor and comic book illustrator; starring and orchestrating all her videos, recording a considerable amount of her music at her home studio in Liverpool to collecting vintage guitars.

She has recently unveiled her new video for ‘Dark Blue’, the concept coming from ZUZU herself and co-directed with Rafe Jennings, she says “the video idea for dark blue came from me binge watching 2 seasons of Doomsday Preppers back to back! They are all scared of different apocalyptic scenarios and are constantly worried which I thought would work perfectly with the song.” Wearing her heart on sleeve when it comes to influences she says “I’m also super inspired by kings Wes Anderson and Tim Burton and really wanted it to feel surreal and colourful almost like a comic book.”
